There is a constant exchange of energy between you and your environment – you can regulate it but can’t stop it – you can’t decide that I don’t want to transfer heat to the chair I am sitting on. We are educated selectively in our societies to benefit the systems in place more than ourselves. If only we would spend some time in our early years understanding energy and using energy to function at our optimum capacities with a higher level of consciousness and harness all the energies that act as fuel for it, our lives would be so much more fulfilling.
95% of brain activity is unconscious. These include habits and patterns, automatic body function, creativity, emotions, personality, beliefs and values, cognitive biases, and also our long-term memory. With the brain as the command centre and our bodies at the receiving end, it is wise to tap into some of this activity and turn it into consciousness.
